Reverse Engineering and Discovery

I think that reverse engineering can be a very important and inexpensive way to learn about different electronics. Getting an electronic, finding what parts are in it, and completely understanding what that electronics function does is my definition of reverse engineering. If you use reverse engineering to solve a problem you can use the parts from the machine you took apart to create a new machine that might help you solve you problem. I think that without reverse engineering a lot of inventions would have never been made and many of our questions would not have been answered. Reverse engineering is a major part of technology and I think that it will solve many of our problems in the future.
